Why can't I see my referrals in the Boon tracker?

Last updated: July 18, 2026

After a platform update or migration to Boon, some users may notice that referrals they previously submitted are no longer visible in their referral tracker. This can affect both employees who submitted referrals and admins or job owners who manage them.

Answer

If you submitted a referral prior to your organization's launch on Boon, that referral may not yet appear in your tracker. This is a known situation that occurs during the transition to Boon — historical referrals from previous systems are not automatically imported.

The Boon team works closely with your organization's referral admin team to upload all pre-existing referrals into the platform so that you have full visibility into their progress. This process is handled on a priority basis.

Here's what you can do:

  1. Reach out to your internal referral admin or HR team to confirm that your referral information has been submitted to Boon for import.

  2. If referrals submitted after your organization's Boon launch are missing, contact Boon Support with the following details to help investigate:

    • The name and email address of the candidate you referred

    • The job or requisition you referred them to

    • A screenshot of the referral confirmation email you received when the referral was submitted

  3. If you are an admin or job owner and notice referrals disappearing from the tracker, you can use the Notifications Audit feature in Boon to verify which referrals have been received and identify any that may be missing.

If you continue to experience issues, please reach out to Boon Support directly so the team can investigate and ensure your referrals are properly reflected in the tracker.
